INSPIRE-PV
INSPIRE-PV is a project co-funded by the European Union under the Innovation Fund programme.
Led by ROSI, the project aims to build European industrial capacity for high-value recycling of end-of-life photovoltaic panels, recovering strategic materials such as silicon, silver, copper, aluminium and glass.
Project factsheetA new generation of photovoltaic recycling

Solar energy is set to play a major role in Europe's energy transition. At the same time, the first millions of photovoltaic panels installed over twenty years ago are gradually reaching the end of their life.
Today, a large share of the valuable materials contained in those panels is not recovered optimally.
INSPIRE-PV aims to demonstrate that photovoltaic panels can be recycled at scale while returning high-value strategic raw materials to the European economy.
